Booking
How do I book a taxi?
You can book online through our website, call us on 0300 014 5464, or email booking@brockenhurst-taxi.com. We recommend booking in advance for airport transfers.
How far in advance should I book?
For local journeys, we can often accommodate same-day bookings. For airport transfers, we recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance to guarantee availability.
Can I book a return journey?
Yes, you can book both outward and return journeys at the same time. This is common for airport transfers where we can monitor your return flight.
What information do you need for a booking?
We'll need your pickup address, destination, date and time, number of passengers, contact details, and any special requirements (child seats, extra luggage, etc.).
Pricing
How are prices calculated?
We provide fixed quotes based on distance, time of travel, and number of passengers. Airport transfers have set prices. All quotes are provided upfront with no hidden charges.
Do you charge extra for early morning or late night?
Our airport transfer prices are the same 24/7. For local journeys, there may be a small premium for unsociable hours, which we'll always advise at booking.
Do I pay in advance or in the car?
Payment is typically made when you travel. We accept cash, card, and can arrange invoicing for business accounts.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. The price we quote is the price you pay. There are no extras for luggage, waiting time at airports, or flight delays.
Airport Transfers
Which airports do you serve?
We serve all major UK airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Southampton, Bournemouth, Luton, and Stansted. We also cover cruise terminals.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track all incoming flights and adjust our pickup time automatically. There's no extra charge for flight delays.
Where will the driver meet me at the airport?
For arrivals, your driver will meet you in the arrivals hall with a name board. We'll provide a contact number before your journey.
How early should I be picked up for departures?
We recommend arriving at the airport 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights. We'll suggest a pickup time based on your flight.
Vehicles & Service
What vehicles do you use?
We operate a fleet of comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles including saloons and estate cars. For larger groups, we can arrange minibuses.
Can you accommodate child seats?
Yes, please let us know ages of children when booking and we'll provide appropriate child seats at no extra charge.
Do you have wheelchair accessible vehicles?
Yes, we can arrange wheelchair accessible transport. Please mention this when booking so we can ensure availability.
How much luggage can you take?
Our standard vehicles can take 2-3 large suitcases plus hand luggage. For larger amounts, please advise when booking so we can use an appropriate vehicle.
